  • Onion: 1 large onion, minced
  • Carrots: 4, cut into thick rounds

Liquids and broth

  • Dark beer: 50 cl (such as Abbey beer, Guinness or Chimay)
  • Chicken stock: 50 cl

Seasoning and aromatics

  • Butter: 40 g
