Sweet Glazed Baked Chicken with Mac & Cheese and Green Beans

🍗 Sweet Glazed Baked Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs or leg quarters

  • ½ cup BBQ sauce

  • 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  3. Mix BBQ sauce, honey, and soy sauce.

  4. Place chicken in a baking dish and brush generously with sauce.

  5. Bake uncovered for 45–55 minutes, basting halfway, until caramelized and internal temp reaches 165°F.

  6. Broil for 2–3 minutes if you want extra char.


🧀 Creamy Mac & Cheese (with Veggies)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp flour

  • 1½ cups milk

  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • ½ cup peas or chopped green beans

  • Salt & pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain.

  2. Melt butter in a saucepan, stir in flour, cook 1 minute.

  3. Slowly whisk in milk until thick.

  4. Add cheese, salt, and pepper; stir until smooth.

  5. Fold in macaroni and vegetables.


🥬 Simple Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 2 cups green beans

  • 1 tbsp butter or olive oil

  • Salt & pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil or steam green beans for 5–7 minutes until tender.

  2. Toss with butter, salt, and pepper.
