Baguettes au Gratin with Ham & Cheese
⭐ Ingredients (for 4 mini baguettes):
4 small baguettes (or 2 large ones to cut in half)
100 g diced ham (or turkey, chicken, etc.)
150 to 200 g grated cheese (mozzarella, emmental, cheddar, etc.)
2 tbsp. crème fraîche or béchamel
1 pinch of oregano or herbes de Provence
Pepper (and salt if necessary)
🔥 Preparation:
Preheat your oven to 200°C.
Split the baguettes in half lengthwise without going all the way through (or hollow out the inside slightly if you prefer).
Prepare the filling:
Mix the ham with the crème fraîche, a little pepper and half of the cheese.
You can also add a little mustard or garlic powder for extra taste.
Top the baguettes with this mixture, then sprinkle generously with the remaining cheese.
