Brioche Bread with Yoghurt

 


Instructions:

In a bowl, mix the yoghurt, sugar and eggs until smooth.
In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and salt.
Stir the flour mixture into the yoghurt mixture, then add the melted butter and vanilla extract. Knead until you have a smooth, elastic dough.
Cover the bowl with a kitchen towel and let it rest in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until the dough doubles in size.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (gas mark 6).
Shape the dough into a loaf or small balls and place them in a buttered pan.
Let it rest for another 30 minutes, then bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until the brioche is golden brown.
