BROOKIE FONDANT (A delicious treat)

 

🔔 INSTRUCTIONS:

STEP 1: PREPARE THE BROWNIE

BATTER Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a square tin (20cm x 20cm) and line it with baking parchment.
Melt the chocolate and butter: In a saucepan, melt the dark chocolate and butter over low heat until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Prepare the dough: In a large bowl, combine the sugar and chocolate-butter mixture. Add the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
Add the dry ingredients: Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt into the mixture and mix until everything is well integrated.

STEP 2: PREPARE THE COOKIE

DOUGH In a separate bowl, cream the softened butter with the sugar and brown sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, then mix well.
Stir in the dry ingredients: Add the flour, baking soda, and salt, then mix until the batter is smooth. Add the chocolate chips.

STEP 3: ASSEMBLE THE TWO BATTERS

Pour in the brownie batter: Spread the brownie batter evenly in the bottom of the prepared pan.
Add the cookie dough: Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the brownie batter, then gently roll out to cover the surface.

STEP 4: BAKE

Bake: Bake the pan for 25 to 30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let cool in the tin before cutting into squares.
