🥪 Classic BLT Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 slices thick-cut bread, toasted
  • 4–6 slices crispy bacon
  • 2–3 slices ripe tomato
  • Fresh lettuce leaves (iceberg, romaine, or
  • butter lettuce)
  • 1–2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • Salt & black pepper
  • Instructions
  • 1. Cook the Bacon
  • Fry in a pan or bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes until crisp.
  • Drain on paper towels.
  • 2. Toast the Bread
  • Toast until golden.
  • Spread mayonnaise on one or both slices.
  • 3. Assemble
  • Layer in this order:
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato slices (season lightly with salt & pepper)
  • Crispy bacon
  • 4. Serve
  • Top with the second bread slice.
  • Cut in half and enjoy warm and crispy.
