Classic BLT Sandwich Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 slices thick-cut bread, toasted
- 4–6 slices crispy bacon
- 2–3 slices ripe tomato
- Fresh lettuce leaves (iceberg, romaine, or
- butter lettuce)
- 1–2 tbsp mayonnaise
- Salt & black pepper
- Instructions
- 1. Cook the Bacon
- Fry in a pan or bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes until crisp.
- Drain on paper towels.
- 2. Toast the Bread
- Toast until golden.
- Spread mayonnaise on one or both slices.
- 3. Assemble
- Layer in this order:
- Lettuce
- Tomato slices (season lightly with salt & pepper)
- Crispy bacon
- 4. Serve
- Top with the second bread slice.
- Cut in half and enjoy warm and crispy.
