Crispy Honey Garlic Chicken

  1. Place a saucepan on the stove, then add soy sauce, honey, and garlic. Stir until well combined.
  2. Turn the heat to medium and let the mixture boil.
  3. In a mixing bowl, add cold water and cornstarch. Stir until well combined.
  4. Add the cornstarch to the pan and stir until well combined and thick.
  5. Remove the pan from the heat.
  6. In a mixing bowl, add the flour, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir with a whisk until well combined.
  7. In another mixing bowl, add 1 tablespoon of water and eggs. Stir with a whisk until well combined.
  8. Dip each slice of chicken into the egg wash and then into the flour mixture. Be sure to coat them well.
  9. Place a large skillet on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
  10. Add the oil and let it heat up.
  11. Add the chicken pieces and fry for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  12. Add the fried chicken slices to the bowl with the honey garlic sauce and toss until well coated.
