Evening Woman’s Story

The man who was supposed to camp in the woods.

No boots. No backpack.

Dressed as if for a date.

 

And then… she appeared.

 

A woman. Young. Confident.

She laughed. He laughed.

 

And then, right in front of me, he kissed her. For a long time.

 

I froze. Unable to breathe.

 

The world collapsed silently around me.
