For plants, 1 pinch is enough: abundant and long-lasting flowering

The first thing you should do is gather all of your plants and place them in a large saucerless bowl or, better yet, in a bathtub. Here’s the miracle ingredient that helps them thrive: aspirin. As a self-medication for flu and headaches, it can make plants healthier because it boosts their immune systems.

You should dissolve one effervescent aspirin tablet in a liter of water. Then water the plants thoroughly. However, such a solution of water and aspirin should not be administered more than once a month.

Administering aspirin to plants growing in the soil has been shown to significantly increase their size and yield. To test if your plants tolerate aspirin, simply dissolve 1/4 aspirin in a liter of water, wet them, and observe how they react.

The same solution can also be used to facilitate the rooting of cuttings. In addition, they are much more durable as water for cut flowers. In fact, aspirin also increases their resistance to dryness.

Aspirin
But why is aspirin so good for plants? Plants themselves produce salicylic acid in small amounts when stressed. The acid itself would help them deal with insects, malnutrition or disease. Aspirin is said to strengthen the plant’s immune system, ensuring not only rapid germination but also resistance to pests and diseases. In addition, the salicylic acid in aspirin blocks the release of ethylene, which causes the plant to dry out.
