Chaos creeps in
But the little girl, still so proud of herself, reserves one last revelation: “And you, Dad, you told the lady in red that she had the most beautiful legs you’ve ever seen! Mom, did you know that Dad likes legs?” The silence that falls is heavy, almost oppressive . Dad and Mom look at each other, stunned, like two wrestlers ready to challenge each other. The situation is completely beyond their capabilities.
The chaos reaches its peak when the mother, driven by anger and panic, shouts, “Enough for tonight! Now go to bed!” The little girl, meanwhile, runs to her room, happy to have revealed the family “secrets.”
A situation that gets out of hand (but makes you smile)
Dad, ever on the alert, doesn’t hesitate to add a final touch of provocation: “So, Jack’s too strong, huh?” Mom, furious, throws a pillow in his face: “Shut up or sleep on the couch tonight.” But Dad, far from being offended, bursts out laughing. And, with a sly smile, he murmurs: “You’d better call the lawyer, honey. It’ll be a real pleasure to explain all this to you…”
There’s no doubt that the family atmosphere that evening will be as tense as it is comical, with misinterpreted secrets and unexpected revelations. But in the end, one thing is certain: in this family, the children’s overflowing imagination truly knows no bounds !
