Minced meat pies, salted with herbs and spices

These hearty ground beef patties are juicy, flavorful, and packed with fresh herbs and spices. With a blend of smoked paprika, Italian herbs, and fresh parsley, these patties are a delicious main dish that’s perfect with mashed potatoes, salads, or roasted vegetables. They’re easy to make, pan-fried and a favorite for family dinners and meal prep.

Ingredients
Minced meat: 28 oz (800 g)
Eggs: 2
Vegetable oil: for frying
Butter: 1
tablespoon Onion: 1, finely chopped
Garlic: 2 cloves, chopped
Parsley: 2 tablespoons, chopped
Salt: 1 teaspoon
Black pepper: to taste
Smoked paprika: 1 teaspoon
Italian herbs: 1 teaspoon
Instructions

Preparation of the meat mixture
In a large bowl, combine the minced meat, eggs, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, Italian herbs and chopped parsley.
Add the finely chopped onion and minced garlic to the mixture, then mix everything well until well combined. Blend with your hands or a spatula until the ingredients are evenly distributed.
Shape the patties
Divide the meat mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into patties. Try to get about 8 to 10 patties, depending on which size you prefer.
Heat oil and butter
In a large skillet, heat a small amount of vegetable oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. The combination of oil and butter gives a golden and crispy crust.
Cooking the patties
Arrange the patties in the pan in a single layer (you may need to cook them in batches). Bake each side for about 3 to 4 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Make sure the internal temperature reaches at least 160°F (71°C) to ensure safe consumption if you’re using ground beef, or follow the recommended temperature for the type of meat you’re using.
Serve: Remove
the patties from the pan and drain them on paper towels if necessary. Serve warm with your favorite side dishes.
