Step 1: COOKING THE PASTA
– Cook the pasta according to the packet instructions in a large pot of boiling salted water. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking.
Step 2: PREPARATION OF THE SALAD
– In a large bowl, mix the cooked pasta, ranch sauce, and heavy crème fraiche until the pasta is well coated.
– Add the cherry tomatoes, shredded lettuce, grated cheddar and golden bacon. Mix gently to combine all the ingredients.
Step 3: SEASONING
– Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add the chopped green onions if desired.
Step 4: SERVICE
– Serve the salad immediately or refrigerate it for about 30 minutes to let the flavors blend before serving.
