Peace lily, with this ingredient alone, blooms for up to 10 years in a row

The peace lily is perfect as a piece of furniture, but we know that the flowering of plants unfortunately has a limited time.

This doesn’t mean, however, that with proper nutrition, the flowers can’t survive longer, and the plant can continue to grow in a healthy and natural way, so the blooms will remain beautiful and lush for years to come.

How to care for the peace lily

All you need to do to make this happen is create a DIY mixture of tapioca flour and water. This ingredient is actually considered a natural fertilizer and comes directly from the tuber of a tropical plant called yucca. Among the substances it contains are minerals such as magnesium, potassium, calcium, iron, and many others.

To nourish our lily, simply dilute a tablespoon of tapioca flour in 400 ml of water and mix until you get a liquid mixture.

Then add more water, continue mixing, and pour everything into another container, completing one step: This step is to remove any lumps.

Using tapioca flour fertilizer

After creating our fertilizer based on water and tapioca flour in just a few minutes, we can start using it.

To do this, simply place it in a watering can and sprinkle the lily soil over it so that the plant’s roots absorb all the necessary nutrients and can grow, making them healthy, beautiful and strong.

It is also worth remembering that a peace lily needs watering about two or three times a week and that the best place in the house to place it is somewhere cool and out of direct sunlight.
