Polenta with minced meat or stew: I learned this recipe from my grandmother, the flavor is wonderful!
For the polenta
- 2 cups cornmeal
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tablet beef broth
- 1 liter of water
- 3 cups room temperature water
- olive oil and salt (to taste)

Preparation method
Ground beef
- In a skillet, sauté the garlic and onion in olive oil until golden brown.
- Add the ground beef and fry until tender.
- Add the tomato paste and season with parsley, oregano, black pepper and salt. Book.
Polenta
- In another skillet, sauté the garlic in olive oil until golden brown.
- Add the beef stock cube and 1 liter of water. Allow the cube to dissolve completely and bring to a boil.
- In a bowl, mix the room temperature water with the cornmeal until dissolved.
- Pour the diluted cornmeal into the pot with boiling water and stir constantly to avoid lumps, always over low heat.
- If the polenta starts to bubble too much, cover the pot and stir it off the heat.
- Pour the polenta into a baking dish and top with ground beef.
- There you go! Your ground beef polenta is ready to enjoy!
