That’s why you should never leave an open can in the fridge
An open can in the refrigerator often leads to unnecessary waste. Over time, food changes in appearance, smell and taste, which often leads to it being thrown away.
Good reflex to take over:
Immediately transfer the leftovers to an airtight container (glass or food-grade plastic).
Make a note of the opening date so as not to forget to consume them quickly (ideally within 2-3 days).
How do you store an opened can correctly?

Use an airtight container: preferably made of glass or food-safe plastic.
Close the container tightly to avoid contamination and loss of freshness.
Store in the coldest part of the refrigerator: below 4 °C.
Consume quickly: within 2 to a maximum of 3 days.
Zero Waste Tip: If you open a can but don’t want to eat it all right away, consider freezing leftovers in a suitable container. This extends their service life without the risk of tampering.
