The ingenious cleaning trick – step by step
Step 1: Prepare the necessary things
Hot water
White vinegar
Bicarbonate
Soft brush or old toothbrush
Cloth or sponge
Bowl or container
Step 2: Remove the detergent drawer.
Most drawers can be easily removed by pressing a latch. Refer to your washing machine manual if necessary.
Step 3: Rinse and soak.
Rinse off any residue with warm water. Then soak the box in warm water with vinegar for 15–20 minutes to loosen dirt and dust.
Step 4: Scrub and clean.
Use the brush to clean all the nooks and crannies. For stubborn stains, make a paste of baking soda and water and scrub gently.
Step 5: Clean the inside of the box.
Wipe the surface of the box with a damp cloth. If there is mold, you can use a little vinegar or baking soda.
Step 6: Rinse and Dry
Rinse all components thoroughly and dry them thoroughly. Drying is important to prevent new mold from forming.
Step 7: Reinstall the box
Once everything is completely dry, reassemble the box and make sure it is seated correctly.
