Preparation
In a large bowl, mix the butter and sweetened condensed milk until smooth and creamy.
Add vanilla if desired.
Gradually add the cornstarch. Mix first with a spoon, then by hand, until you have a soft dough that no longer sticks to your fingers.
Shape the cookies to your liking: small balls, rolls, or cookie cutters.
Place them on an ungreased baking sheet—they won’t stick!
Bake at 180°C for 12 to 15 minutes. Don’t let them brown: the secret is to keep them nice and white.
Let cool completely before storing. They will be even more delicious the next day.
Tip : Perfect with coffee or tea… and prepare to receive a shower of compliments!
