4️⃣ Bake and Stir
Bake for 8–10 minutes, then remove the tray and gently stir the pecans. Return to the oven and bake another 5–8 minutes, watching closely. The sugar should look glossy and lightly caramelized, not dark or burnt.
5️⃣ Cool Completely
Remove from the oven and let the pecans cool on the baking sheet. As they cool, the sugar will harden into a crunchy coating. Once cool, break apart any clusters.
6️⃣ Store or Serve
